Josh Hawkins
Owner & Master Certified Technician
Josh Hawkins is the Owner and Operating Member of Hawkins Automotive, bringing exceptional leadership and technical expertise to every aspect of the business. A Master Certified Technician and factory Honda–trained professional, Josh's automotive journey began early—working in his father's shop, Brad's Transmission, where he was pulling transmissions before he could even drive. Known as a fearless leader with an unwavering confidence in his team and his craft, Josh continues to set the standard for excellence. Beyond the shop, he is the owner of Torque Labs Racing and an accomplished race car driver and builder. Josh is also a devoted family man who is proud to share his life with his wife, Paige, and their two sons, Cade and Camden.
David Brown
Service Manager
David Brown is the Service Manager at Hawkins Automotive, bringing more than two decades of experience in the automotive service industry. He has been working in automotive service since 1999 and became a Service Advisor in 2007 before stepping into his current management role in 2024. David is ASE Certified and has completed emissions training for state inspections through Brookhaven College, ensuring high standards of compliance and quality in every aspect of service. Outside of work, David is a proud family man—his wife, Natalie Brown, serves as an Assistant Principal in Van, Texas, and he enjoys spending time with his sons, Michael and Gavin.
Nate Sanford
Master Technician & Lead Technician
Nate Sanford is a Master Technician and Lead Technician whose expertise and leadership play a key role in the success of Hawkins Automotive. He is ASE Master Certified and also trained as a Service Advisor, giving him a well-rounded understanding of both the technical and customer service sides of the business. Before joining Hawkins Automotive in April 2018, Nate owned and operated an independent tire store, building a strong foundation in shop management and hands-on service. He came to Hawkins Automotive ready to help in any way he could—and has since become an essential part of the team's growth. Outside of work, Nate enjoys spending time with his son, Jaxon, and his daughters, Cheyenne and Adaline.
Cameron Roquemore
Master Certified Technician
Cameron Roquemore is a Master Certified Technician with a strong background in dealership and independent automotive service. He received factory training while working at a Ford dealership and further developed his technical skills through automotive training at Tyler Junior College. Cameron joined Hawkins Automotive in March 2022 after gaining valuable experience at a Ford dealer beginning in 2020. Known for his dedication to quality workmanship, he brings both expertise and enthusiasm to every vehicle he services. Outside of work, Cameron enjoys spending time with his family and his fiancée, Kristin, staying active through hunting, mud runs, and fitness—and he's especially proud of his classic C/10 truck.
Stephen Alexander
Certified Service Technician
Stephen Alexander is a Certified Service Technician with extensive experience across multiple areas of the automotive industry. A Bullard High School graduate, Stephen is factory trained to service both Toyota and Ford vehicles and is on track to become the next Master Certified Technician at Hawkins Automotive. His background includes working at both Ford and Toyota dealerships, as well as providing reliable service as a mobile mechanic. Outside of work, Stephen is a dedicated family man who enjoys spending his time off taking his two children to the lake to fish and relax, bringing the same care and commitment to his family as he does to his craft.
Esmaider Joachin
Service Technician
Esmaider Joachin is a skilled Service Technician with a strong background in automotive training through dual credit courses at Tyler Junior College. Before transitioning into the automotive field full time in June 2022, he spent two years working as a Nurse's Assistant, developing a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to helping others. In his spare time, Esmaider continues to sharpen his technical skills by working on race cars with Josh Hawkins at Torque Labs, bringing both passion and hands-on experience to every job he takes on.
Jose Esparza
Lube Technician & Apprentice
Jose Esparza is a dedicated Lube Technician and Apprentice with a strong foundation in automotive service. He completed automotive training through dual credit courses at Tyler Junior College and continues to build his expertise through hands-on experience. While completing his apprenticeship, Jose also served as a Night Manager at a parts store, gaining valuable leadership and customer service skills. A 2023 high school graduate, Jose's passion for the automotive field drives his commitment to delivering quality work and growing his career in automotive repair.
Crystal Short
Service Advisor & Customer Service Specialist
Crystal Short is a dedicated Service Advisor and Customer Service Specialist who brings years of leadership and customer-focused experience to the Hawkins Automotive team. Known for her positive attitude and commitment to customer care, Crystal began her automotive career at Barry's Brakes before going on to own and manage Nevada City Auto Service in Nevada City, California. She also managed multiple shops in California prior to relocating to Texas, giving her a well-rounded perspective on both operations and customer service. Outside of work, Crystal is a proud mother of five—Jacob, Chelsea, Paige, Kelsey, and Bronsen—and brings the same care and dedication to her family as she does to every customer she serves.
